This compact and rigorously tested unit requires no subscription and operates on the three Cospas-Sarsat Satellite systems which include the MEOSAR for near-instantaneous signal detection. This buoyant unit provides you with 24 hours of operational life and is activated by deploying the antenna and pressing the button. It also has self-test options so that you can make sure it’s working correctly before your trip starts. If activated, the beacon will be located within 100m 95% of the time within 5 minutes of the distress signal.
